August 2026 is the Potential Admissions Launch

for the next Year One Offering of the

DSS Program in Transcendent Leadership

It is anticipated that PTS will announce the next Year One class for the Doctoral Program in Transcendent Leadership in 2026. Once the next class dates are set, we will begin accepting applicaitons around June of that year. The DSS TL Program will begin with orientation August and classes will start in September. (The full calendar of class weekend gatherings is available here.)

Applicants will hear back from the admissions committee within one week of being told your submitted application is complete.

Application for Admission

The Transcendent Leadership application process has two parts. Each part invites you to share about your readiness to begin the program and your intention for your doctoral journey in TL.

Part 1 of the application begins when you login to pts.org and click on the application link, which you will find at the top of the left sidebar. You will respond to some brief inspirational prompts and will pay the non-refundable application fee. (Part 1 can be completed in about 10 minutes.)

We invite you to respond to these prompts or questions as though you are sharing in our live class—be present in the moment, center yourself in your heart, be spontaneous, be yourself, be succinct—and respond with whatever comes to you in that moment.

When you complete your brief responses to the prompts, you will hit submit and will be charged the $50 non-refundable application fee. This will enroll you in a course page in our PTS Wisdom site, called DSS TL Application, where you will complete Part 2 of the application process. To find this course page, click on “Courses” in the left sidebar.

Part 2 of the application invites you to share two reflective essays, which you will write and upload as Word or pdf files. The information you enter will be saved in this PTS Wisdom space as you upload each document file. This part of the application will be visible to you under the section called “Courses,” which allows you to complete the application at any time by returning to the application page. (Part 2 can be completed in a few minutes once you have written the essays and are ready to upload them.)

You may begin to prepare these reflective essays now, before beginning the application, or you may wish to write them after you have completed Part 1 and have been registered in the application page for Part 2. The two reflective essays are: [1] a reflection of your growth and expansion during the MSS TL Program along the three dimensions of the DSS program: transcendence, leadership, and inquiry; and [2] your personal statement of intention for your participation in the DSS TL Program.

Information Sessions: The TL Faculty will host a series of open conversations about the upcoming doctoral program via Zoom once the date is set. Please contact Joanie for dates and link. Recordings of several completed information sessions are also available.

On my journey as a transcendent leader, I am realizing that I am living more from the inside out, aware of my multi-dimensional self, loving and accepting all aspects of who I am. I see myself applying the spiritual principles of health and well-being to a greater degree in my life. My yearning to know myself as the Beloved, as one with God is stronger and thus becomes more of a focus, a prayer and a reality. As my devotion to God in my daily life has strengthened, my altitude and my attitude has improved. I am more aware of myself as a co-creator with God, seeing the blessings, being responsible for my manifestations, and trusting in the Divine perfection of it all.
— Donna, MSS in Transcendent Leadership

True leadership consists first and foremost in being led. This conception involves a profound paradox. True leaders are not in an important sense initiators; rather, they are chiefly responders to the divine will. This means that the chief determinant of authentic leadership is not human talent, but availability to the Divine. The only authentic leadership is fellowship with the Divine. When leadership ceases to be Spirit-led, it ceases to be authentic.
